The Turning Point philosophy is anchored by two fundamental convictions: 1) communities have inherent strengths and 2) everyone has a stake in public health.
In addition, OTPC provides guidance and support to local Turning Point partnerships for implementation of the Oklahoma Health Improvement Plan (OHIP) through established Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIP) and aligning public health efforts with vested stakeholders and partners at the state level.
Creating a healthier future and improving the quality of life for Oklahomans through partnerships.
The Oklahoma Turning Point Council champions the Turning Point philosophy by supporting community partnerships through
- Sharing opportunities and resources, and
- Promoting local efforts
to improve the health of all Oklahomans.
